Wow! What a week we have had. The response to our campaign for support has been truly overwhelming. We now have a huge array of very good quality winter clothing we are able to deliver to the churches to support those in need in Northern Iraq this winter. From ski coats, overcoats, gillets, hats, scarfs, jumpers, jeans, cords, jackets, cardigans and some very robust winter boots, we will be able to make a real difference to those in need. Clothes have already begun to be delivered to us as part of our drive to collect clothing or the refugees and IDPs in Ankawa. In addition, Radley College this weekend launched a clothing drive across the school to provide clothes for refugees to stay warm as the cold weather sets in.
