Winter campaign launched
Clothes have already begun to be delivered to us as part of our drive to collect clothing or the refugees and IDPs in Ankawa. In addition, Radley College this weekend launched a clothing drive across the school to provide clothes for refugees to stay warm as the cold weather sets in. Collection will continue over the next few days, but we wanted to add our thanks in advance for their help in getting this campaign underway. #school #ankawa #winter
Thoughts and Prayers
The Ankawa Foundation wants to offer its thoughts and prayers to those in Erbil today following the terrorist attack. The city and its surrounding area is already having to deal with so much with the internal displacement of over 1.8 million people following the advancement of Daesh. Intolerance and sectarian division are sadly a large part of this society, and it will take hard work and endeavor to try to heal these divisions as the communities head into the future. In our s
